Rules and Regulations

• A team can have 7 minutes on stage.
• Negative points for exceeding the time limit.
• No more than two teams can participate from a college
• A minimum of 5 and a maximum of 8 students can form a team.
• Props and music are allowed
• The music should be submitted prior to the event during the registration, and the music should only contain instrumental and no lyrics.
• The act should not contain any dialogue or lip sync.
• Obscenity will lead to disqualification
• Points will be awarded on the basis of :
  • Innovation
  • Depiction of the situation
  • Team work
  • Expressions
• Showing teeth is permitted in Mime performance hence it is part of facial expressions and gestures.
• In addition to the existing rules in Mime competition,we would like to introduce the following new rules to ensure the clarity.

Note:

A team can consist of a minimum of 5 students and a maximum of 8 students. Participants are expected to work in teams.
